YPN is Helping KDH Kick Butt
Updated: Jun 18, 2019
Have you seen these creative stickers at many of the beach accesses? The Town of Kill Devil Hills teamed up with the Surfrider Foundation to create the Kick Butt Campaign. This campaign provides an eye catching design to remind beachgoers to toss their cigarette butts in the trashcan and not the sand. Cigarette butts are one of the most littered items on our beaches.
On June 19th, the Young Professionals Network at the Outer Banks Association of REALTORS® is hosting their first beach clean up of the season. Our local YPN is also partnering with NC REALTORS® for their NC REALTORS® Gives Back day that simultaneously falls on June 19th this year. This event is also being co-sponsored by the Residential Real Estate Council’s North Carolina Chapter of CRS.
NC REALTORS® Gives Back is a way for local associations and their members to come together and participate in housing-related service projects in their area.
Join YPN on June 19th at 5pm at the Martin Street beach access in Kill Devil Hills, and let’s kick some butt! Followed by a summer social at The Bonzer Shack.
RSVP on the 'Summer Social' Facebook Event or on our website under the 'Events' tab.
This event is one of the many ways the Outer Banks Association of REATLORS®, Young Professionals Network is helping to support local initiatives in our community.
Next up on the Town of Kill Devil Hills sub-committees agenda: Bag Smarter Initiative to combat the liter of plastic bags. Learn how to get involved with the Town of Kill Devil Hills committees and sub-committees on the town website.
